L’Akhal Teke è un cavallo molto raro, noto anche come “cavallo celeste”. La sua origine è tessuta tra tante storie mistiche, perché la sua grazia, intelligenza, forza e coraggio sono stati venerati dal popolo dell’Asia per migliaia di anni.

La sua origine è antica e risale a più di 2500 anni fa nella zona iraniana turkmena.
Attualmente lo si può trovare nella parte occidentale della Russia, Ucraina e nei deserti della regione del Turkmenistan.
CARATTERISTICHE
L’Akhal-Teke è caratterizzato da una resistenza infinita che gli permette di percorrere lunghe distanze in condizioni impervie senza mostrare eccessivo affaticamento. Ha una pelliccia molto sottile che sembra di velluto e che riflette la luce del sole in modo incredibile. La coda ha peli lunghi e setosi, le zampe posteriori sono lunghe e possenti. Tutto questo lo rende un cavallo dall’aspetto elegante e dal volto aristocratico.
