Have you ever think about a horse-riding trekking in Bosnia? … This country is a pearl waiting to be discovered. Locked in the heart of Balkans, Bosnia-Erzegovina is an area constantly changing, a mix of nature and beauty, capable of pleasantly surpising its visitors, leaving them breathless.
Its countrysided is dotted by medieval villages, rivers and lakes, in addition to impervious Dinariche Alps. It presents naturalistic and interesting zones, like Jezero, which has also given the name to Mars’ crater. And Then: Jaram, Javorac, Crni Vrh, which we are going to visit, being based at Kupres.
We absolutely suggest you to spend an entire day for visiting Sarajevo, the capital: a city constantly moving with its historic, colorful and beating center. Through its streets are hidden symbols of three religions that, at least until jugoslavian war, were used to live together, enough to give it the name of Europe’s Jerusalem: Christianity, Judaism and Islam.

Arrive at Split or Sarajevo Airport. Meeting with our corrispondents and transfer (1 and a half hour from Split, 2 and a hafl hours from Sarajevo) to Kupres, in Bosnia Erzegovina. Dinner and overnight stay in a farm in front of the stable.
After breakfast, evryone in the stable and departure on horseback for an initial trekking for about 4 hours to Stozer Mountain, 1800 mt high. Return to stables in time for lunch and, in the afternoon, riding excursion for an hour to explore the surroundings. Dinner and overnight at the farm.
After breakfast, departure for another horseback trekking for about 4 hours over Jaram Mountain. Return to the stables in time for lunch and, in the afternoon, another riding excursion to explore the surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at the farm.
After breakfast, departure for another horseback trekking for about 4 hours to Jezero. It's curious to think that this place gives the name to Mars' crater Jezero, due to some morphological similarities. Return to the stables in time for lunch and, in the afternoon, another riding excursion to explore the surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at the farm.
After breakfast, departure for another horseback trekking for about 4 hours to Crni Vrh, an area rich of forests. Return to the stables in time for lunch and, in the afternoon, another riding excursion to explore the surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at the farm.
After breakfast, departure for another horseback trekking for about 4 hours to Javorac. Return to the stables in time for lunch and, in the afternoon, another riding excursion to explore the surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at the farm.
Breakfast and last day in saddle. Trekking of approximately 4 hours crossing an area with a various vegetation, between fields and forests. Return to the stables in time for lunch and, in the afternoon, another riding excursion to explore the surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at the farm.
Breakfast, chechk-out and transfer to Split or Sarajevo Airport, in time for your flight to Italy.

Accomodation: The overnights will always be at the farm close to the stables. Available 2 cottages. Every cottage has 3 bedrooms with toilet, living area and kitchen to use in common. Simple but comfortable accomodations. Typical homemade dishes, prepared with fresh products. It’s included a drink per person during the meals. It’s possible to ask vegetarian menus, or to report potential intolerances.
Equipment: english or western saddles.
Horses: Mixed-race horses, locally raised, used to trails.
Strides: 5 hours per days riding. It is required the ability of mastering horse in open space and to be comfortable with the three strides.
Maximum weight: 90 Kg
Minimum Age: 14 y/0
