There will be an incredible variety of landscapes: open savannah, dense forests and patches of low shrubs, craters and lakes. The Park is home to the largest variety of fauna on the entire continent, such as leopards, elephants and buffaloes. Our adventure will begin in the area called "little Serengeti" in the direction of Mount Meru, to arrive at sunset at our private tented camp, where our staff will make your experience unique and at the same time comfortable. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp.
Wake up very early to start our safari, following the tracks of different animals in search of the "big five". We will pass by the beautiful waterfalls located at the foot of Mount Meru where we will surely see some buffaloes. Upon returning to the camp we will let the horses rest and by means of transport we will move to see the Momella lakes inhabited by flamingos and hippos. In the surrounding area we will most likely also see giraffes and various species of antelope and gazelle. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
A long morning safari will take us through savannah and forests, always looking for giraffes and buffaloes. In the late morning we will cross the border of the National Park to enter the land of the Masai. Their colorful red sarongs stand out sharply as you pass their villages. Our tented camp awaits us in a beautiful area shaded by umbrella acacias. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Wake up at dawn to see the sunrise and then everyone on the saddle, heading north passing by rocky hills, forests of acacias and euphorbias. This is the land of elephants and by following their tracks we will have the opportunity to see these magnificent giants. Return to the camp for a branch and walking safari in the company of a Masai warrior who will explain how they live. In the late afternoon back in the saddle for a safari across plains perfect for long gallops. Dinner and overnight at the mobile camp.
Long morning game drive along the trails that animals use to move between Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru, especially during the rainy season. In this area it will be possible to meet zebras, waterbucks, kudus and giraffes. Hunting for these herbivores there are leopards, jaguars and hyenas, which we can see. We are here in the Enduimet Wildlife Management Area, in the afternoon we will reach the Mgunga fixed tent camp where we will be welcomed with a drink, while our mobile camp will be set up in the shade of an ancient secular tree with a view of Mount Meru.
Today we move away from the west of Kilimanjaro through open grasslands to reach the lush exotic forests that cover its slopes. In the afternoon we will leave the horses at a farm and by means of transport we will return to the farm of the first night. Aperitif on the veranda, dinner and overnight stay.
You can wander around the farm and get to know the animals more closely, this is also a shelter for wild animals that have been orphaned.
