Equestrian stay in Lipiza 2021
This proposal is dedicated to dressage lovers, a real clinic, a unique opportunity to mount the noble Lipizan horse and through the principles of classic dressage to be able to achieve perfect unity and harmony with this wonderful animal. Just two hours from Venice, on the Slovenian Adriatic coast, this historic center awaits you. Founded in 1580 at the behest of the Archduke Charles of Habsburg, the best dressage horses famous all over the world are still bred and selected today.

Arrival in Lipiza, check-in at the hotel adjacent to the stables and dinner. Possibility of having a transfer from Trieste airport or Sezana train station (on request for a fee).
Every day you will have two riding lessons of 50 minutes each (total 10 lessons). It is required to be in the stable a little before the lesson to participate in the cleaning and saddling of the horses. Participants will be divided into groups according to their equestrian skills. During the week (book on the day of arrival - subject to availability) there will be a 30-minute carriage ride, a visit to the stables and breeding with an illustration of the founders of the breed and their history, participation in all high school show. Free lunch, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

HORSES: LIPIZZANO HORSE, with a typical candid white color (gray in technical terms) in adulthood, originates in Lipiza, where bloodlines are bred and selected since 1580. Elegant and docile horse was selected for the Habsburg court and “Alta Escuela Espanola” in Vienna. A horse that today has various farms throughout Europe, is famous for its dressage performances all over the world.
PACE: 2 DAILY LESSONS OF 50 MINUTES. The riders are divided by equestrian level. We work on the three gaits and high-level dressage movements (shoulder in, leaning, piaffe and passage) and we recommend this program to those with at least an intermediate level, in order to assimilate what is put into practice. The rider must be equipped with riding clothing: dressage cap, boots, spurs and whip.

ACCOMMODATION:
Overnight at the Maestoso Hotel, built in 1970. It takes its name from one of the 6 founding stallions of the Lipizan breed. Just renovated, it offers 59 comfortable rooms and 7 suites: private bathroom, hair dryer, telephone, satellite TV, radio and mini bar, WI-FI (for a fee). There is also a fitness center with sauna, swimming pool, snack bar, casino, golf course and clay tennis courts.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of local and international cuisine.
Pets accepted (supplement to be paid locally).
