Guanacaste: Tropical Adventure 2021
Come with us to ride in this piece of paradise just a few minutes from the famous white beach of Guanacaste, one of the most beautiful in Costa Rica. We will be in a beautiful ranch, where the most beautiful Creole and Pasos horses are bred and tamed; immersed in the tropical forest, you will be lucky enough to be able to see abundant wildlife. A true enchanted corner where there will be space for non-riders: there are so many local attractions, there will be spoiled for choice between pristine beaches, natural parks, volcanoes and traditional festivals.

Pick-up from Liberia airport - usd 70 each way payable locally (LIR) or Tamarindo- included (TNO), respectively 45 minutes and 20 minutes from the ranch (or any hotel in the city), which it is located just minutes from the beautiful Guanacaste beach. In the late afternoon, demonstration of the beauty and potential of the Creole horse, much appreciated in Costa Rica. Dinner at the ranch or in a local restaurant, exhibition of the program and overnight.
Breakfast and we will be on the saddle to reach the town of Tempate, along the ancient routes traveled by the Spanish conquistadors. We will cross forests, large cattle ranches and beaches. Lunch in Las Brizas, a typical restaurant on the beach. In the afternoon, return to the ranch for some relaxation before dinner.
This morning we will visit the beautiful Hacienda Roble, a huge "working ranch" surrounded by a semi-marshy area, where, in the company of our expert guide, we will see a great variety of birds. After having lunch we will visit the beautiful surrounding area and the Lorraine village. Return to the ranch at sunset.
Saddle up early to enjoy the awakening of the day, crossing typical ranches, countryside and villages. Free afternoon to visit the nearby beaches, such as Tamarindo, equipped for those wishing to surf or do some shopping. Free dinner in Tamarindo and pick-up for return to the ranch.
Demonstration of gentle taming methods with young horses at the ranch. Transfer by public transport to La Garita, where you will find horses waiting for you. Taking the direction of Guanacaste we will cross forests of giant trees of the dry tropical forest, where it will be possible to spot several monkeys. Stop to cool off in Puerto Viejo, then resume your way home along the white sand beaches of the Pacific Ocean. Free lunch. Overnight at the ranch.
Breakfast and weather permitting last ride. Transfer to the airport or pursuit of your vacation.

ACCOMMODATION: ranch
EQUIPMENT: ENGLISH, WESTERN or MCCLELLAN SADDLE (typical saddle used by the American Armed Forces during the civil war in the second half of the 19th century).
HORSES: SPANISH, PASOS and CREOLI. The latter, chosen for their noble temperament and comfortable gaits, are used to work with livestock, for rodeos, traditional festivals and dressage. A combination of Andalusian, Berber and Paso Peruvian blood.
GAIT: 4 to 7 hours per day in the saddle. The gaits will be in relation to the equestrian level of the participants. Possibility of long gallops in open spaces and beaches. It is possible, on request, to take basic dressage lessons with recognized instructors.
MINIMUM AGE : 10 years
TYPE : equestrian stay with overnight stay on the ranch
ACCOMMODATION:
Large private bungalows furnished in typical local style, equipped with every comfort: refrigerator, microwave, tea and coffee maker, wi-fi. The ranch also features a swimming pool, bar and restaurant.

On request it is possible to book extensions: to the city of Granada in Nicaragua with a visit to the city; to the Monteverde Rainforest.
