Idaho: Lead a pack in Idaho 2021
If you have never moved a herd of horses yet, it will probably be the most exciting thing you’ll ever do in the saddle! It is not a simple trekking, riding with the herd for 20 miles a day on any type of terrain, it is a real adventure: it can be cold or hot, rain or be dusty, relaxing or a continuous challenge … anything can be, because this is a absolutely true adventure!

Plan to arrive at Idaho Falls (IDA) airport in time for the 3.30pm transfer (USD 100 per person to be paid locally). Transfer to the ranch of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Accommodation in the rooms, dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast, assignment of horses according to your equestrian level and a day on the saddle dedicated to familiarizing yourself with your four-legged companion. Dinner and overnight at the ranch
Breakfast, loading the horses and luggage on the van and departure for Warm Spring. We will ride today for approximately 20 miles through desert landscapes and canyons. Picnic lunch and in the afternoon we will arrive at the camp set up near a source of warm natural water, where we can relax and bathe before a delicious dinner cooked on the fire.
Breakfast like a real cowboy and disassembly of the camp before leaving for another long day on horseback. Today the landscape will be different, with trees, be careful not to leave any horses behind! Picnic lunch near a refreshing pond and in the afternoon arrive at the new camp set up in Weber Creek for dinner and overnight.
We'll clear the camp and back on the saddle to head back to the ranch. Time available in the afternoon for a little relaxation. Last farewell dinner and overnight at the ranch.
Breakfast and transfer to the airport arriving around h. 11.30.

GAIT: 5-6 H PER DAY IN THE SADDLE – We proceed at 3 gaits, sometimes with long gallops and various terrains.

TYPE : Itinerant with overnight stay in mobile tented camps
ACCOMMODATION:
3 nights on the ranch, small simple but nice and clean buildings, with occupancy of 2 to 4 people. There is no electricity and the bathrooms and showers are outside the rooms, clean and equipped with hot water. Building with kitchen and adjacent dining and living room for relaxation and socializing moments.
2 nights in tents, occupancy from 2 to 4 people, equipped with mattresses and sleeping bags. Toilet and shower tent it is possible to rinse in the springs (with biodegradable soap).
Rustic and hearty meals cooked on the fire; alcohol is not served, we suggest you bring what you prefer to your liking.
Note: The itinerary described above is to be considered indicative. It may be subject to variations due to weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control. It is also available on request in the winter season, with the addition of activities on the ranch such as skiing and cross country.
