Plan a flight to Charles de Gaulle airport, independently take the train to the
station
Montrichard, where the pick-up is scheduled at 18.30. Transfer to the "Auberge de l'Ecole" Hotel Restaurant in Pontlevoy (or similar). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, presentation of the horses and departure towards the beautiful small castle of Fougères sur Bièvre, from the 15th century. Lunch at the foot of the castle and in the afternoon we will reach Cheverny castle, owned by the same family for six centuries! Visit to the castle. Dinner and overnight at the hotel or B & amp; B.
Departure for Chambord, the largest castle in the entire Loire area, a spectacular example of elegance, nestled in a beautiful forest. Picnic lunch and continue to the 16th century castle of Villesavin, kept in perfect condition. Dinner and overnight at the hotel or B & amp; B.
Saddle up to Beauregard Castle, built under the reign of Francis I, it is famous for its incredible gallery of 327 portraits of historical figures. Picnic lunch and visit to the castle before continuing to Candé-dur-Beuvron. Dinner and overnight at the hotel or B & amp; B.
We ride along the Loire to Chaumont-sur-Loire, a delightful little UNESCO World Heritage village, also known for its beautiful 15th-century feudal castle overlooking the valley. Picnic lunch next to the castle and in the afternoon visit, without missing the beautiful stables built in the nineteenth century and considered at the time the most luxurious in Europe. Again in the saddle through the Sudais to reach our hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel or B & amp; B.
Departure to reach the famous castle of Amboise, riding through the beautiful hills planted with cereals and vineyards. Picnic lunch and visit of the castle. During the fifteenth century this castle was very prosperous and was embellished and enriched under the reign of Louis XI, Charles VIII and Francis I. In the afternoon we will cross the Amboise Forest to Saint Martin le Beau, where, once we arrive at the hotel, we will have a tasting of local Touraine and Montlouis wines. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After having breakfast we will follow the river on a perfect route to enjoy long gallops up to the spectacular Chenonceau castle, emblem of the Loire Valley castles, which rises next to the Cher river. Built in 1513 by Katherine Briçonnet, it was called "the castle of the ladies"; later embellished by Diane de Poitiers and Caterina de Medici. Picnic lunch and visit of the castle. In the afternoon we leave the banks of the Cher to head to the town of Pontlevoy, for dinner and overnight.
It's time to say goodbye, after having breakfast, transfer to the Montrichard train station around 9.00 am, where everyone will then continue independently to reach the airport.
