Provence / Camargue: the ride of the Mediterranean 2021
Starting from the Luberon mountains, in the heart of Provence, we will follow ancient Roman roads through some of the most characteristic villages of France to arrive at the blue of the Mediterranean, in the Camargue. in this wild land-rich in equestrian traditions-the nature is king. A journey you don0t want to miss , between history, culture and good food.

Pick-up from Marseille airport at 5 pm sharp, from Aix En Provence TGV station at 5.30 pm or from Aix en Procence center station at 5.45 pm. (pick up at different times on request).
For those arriving by car, the meeting will be directly in Mas de Recaute (Lauris) in the late afternoon, for a welcome drink and presentation of the travel program. Convivial dinner and overnight stay in the Guest House.
The itinerary begins in this area at the foot of the Luberon. Up to the Durance River, which we will cross. Picnic lunch and in the afternoon we will arrive at the farm where the horses will rest for the night. Transfer by minibus for dinner and overnight at the Guest House.
Today we will enter the Alpilles National Park, also known as the land of Van Gogh. We will reach the Roman village of Eygalieres, where we will visit the beautiful chapel. Dinner and overnight in the Guest House.
We will walk in the direction of Sait-Remy crossing the lands that inspired the painter. Lunch near a small lake hidden in the hills and in the afternoon we will arrive at the beautiful medieval village considered among the most beautiful in France, Les Beaux de Provence. We will load the horses on the van that will precede us to Astouin. Visit to the village and its castle from which you have an incredible view as far as the Mediterranean. Transfer to Astouin, leads to the Camargue. Dinner and overnight in a typical Camarguese house.
A wonderful day discovering the Camargue: a wild land, where the Rhone river flows into the Mediterranean creating a unique ecosystem of marshy lands where the famous white Camargue horses and hundreds of pink flamingos live. In the late afternoon we will have time to visit the colorful town streets of Sainte Maries de La Mer. Dinner and overnight at a hotel near the town.
Morning on horseback on the beautiful unspoiled beaches. Lunch at the hotel and in the afternoon transfer to Mas de Recaute for the last dinner during which to exchange moments and memories. Overnight in Guest House.
After having breakfast transfers. Arrival at Aix central station at 10.00 am, Aix TGV at 10.30 am and at Marseille airport at 11.00 am.

Pernottamenti in Guest House, semplici ma pulite e confortevoli, selezionate per il loro charme e atmosfera familiare. In tutti i pasti, anche nei pranzi a pic-nic, gusterete ottimo cibo tipico della cucina francese oltre ad eccellente vino della zona, nota specialmente per il rosé.
