Provence: Luberon & The Canyons of Provence 2021
The Luberon Park is a wonderful area, also known as the “Colorado Provencal” due to its resemblance to the landscapes of the Far West… ancient ocher-colored quarries that offer a stunning landscape and are often used as a backdrop for films. It extends from Cavaillon to Villeneuve astride the Luberon mountain, and offers nature lovers paths outlined by the geological heritage and five different ecosystems.

Meeting at 12.00 in Mas de Recaute, in Lauris, in the heart of Provence (transfer from airport and / or station on request, included as follows: Marseille airport (10:30 am), Aix en Provence TGV station (h 11 am), Aix en Provence central station (11.15 am).
). Lunch and departure on horseback in the afternoon towards the village of Bonnieux, from the old stone houses dating back to the 16th century. Continue through the Aiguebrun gorges. Dinner and overnight in a nice hotel.
After breakfast departure on horseback along the beautiful paths of Aiguebrun, towards the typical Provencal village of Saignon, and then descend into the Calavon valley full of beautiful fruit trees. Lunch in the shade of the trees. In the afternoon we will skirt the “Colorado Provencal” before arriving at the Doa valley. Dinner and overnight in Rustrel.
Morning on horseback in the "Colorado Provencal", with a thousand shades of red and ocher like in the Far West! Then the village of Viens and the Calavon river, up to the town of Céreste, gateway to Haute Provence.
From Cereste we will ride through vineyards and plantations of fruit trees, in bloom between April and May. Arrival at the hotel in the afternoon and free time for a dip in the pool before dinner. Dinner and overnight at Auberge des Seguins (or similar).
We will descend into the gorges of Aiguebrun, then ascend Sivergues, for a wonderful viewpoint, the mountains to the north and the Mediterranean to the south! Picnic lunch near the village of Lourmarin, where you can then visit the 12th century castle and buy local products. Pleasant return with a view of the Sainte-Victoire mountain very dear to the painter Cézanne. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and departure, transfer to Aix en Provence train station or Marseille airport included as follows: Aix en Provence central station (10:00 am), Aix en Provence TGV station (10:30 am), Marseille airport (11am).
