Pick-up from the airport, visit to the city zoo (if your flight schedule allows it) and transfer of about 2 and a half hours to get to the cabanas. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast, presentation of the horses, the program of the week and departure for a full day in the saddle in the Pine Ridge Preserve and Big Rock Falls. Today we will observe different ecosystems, crossing different terrains and being able to observe interesting plants of the rainforest. Stop for lunch and relax enjoying a cool bath in the waterfalls. Return to Barton Creek for dinner and overnight.
Day in the saddle dedicated to visiting the caves, passing through pretty villages such as Siete Millas, or El Progresso, where communities of El Salvador and Guatemala live. Once at the river we will take the canoes to visit these beautiful caves full of stalactites from inside. Lunch, time available for a swim and some relaxation before returning to Barton Creek for dinner and overnight.
Half day on the saddle through the abundant flora and fauna, before the lunch break in a local winery and then by public transport we will go to visit the famous ruins of Cahal Pech and do some shopping in San Ignacio, a lively town where we will be able to see the confluence of two rivers, the Mopan and the Macal which then flow into the Belize River. Return to Barton Creek for dinner and overnight
Day on the saddle to explore the Swallow cave, an ancient Mayan cave, where we will get a taste of the ancient culture, thanks also to some remains present. Lunch and relaxing bath at the Butterfly Falls. Return to Barton Creek for dinner and overnight.
Wake up early and depart for the beautiful ruins of Caracol, in the Chiquibul Forest, where with an expert guide we will explore the site and climb the highest Mayan ruin in Belize, accompanied by abundant wildlife. After lunch break to the Macal River or the On River for a refreshing swim. Return to Barton Creek for dinner and overnight.
Half day on the saddle with a visit to the ruins of Pacbitun, break for lunch overlooking the Belize River and the Mayan cities of Cahal Pech and Xunantunich. Return in the early afternoon in time for some relaxation. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and transfer to the airport in time for your flight to Italy.

ANDATURA: da 5 a 6 h al giorno in sella. Le andature saranno in relazione al livello equestre dei partecipanti del gruppo. Si procede per lo più al passo nei sentieri di montagna ma non mancherà la possibilità di galoppare. Si richiede una buona condizione fisica e la capacità di controllare il cavallo negli spazi aperti.

SISTEMAZIONE:
Graziose cabanas in legno arredati in tipico stile locale, impreziosite con stucchi e tappezzerie fatte a mano e vista sulla vallata. Non c’è elettricità nelle camere, ma solo romantiche lampade a petrolio. La corrente è disponibile nell’area comune. Gustosa cucina di prodotti tipici locali.
