The caledoscopic Israel 2021
This is not only a journey through nature, it is also a cultural experience. The places and characters will send you back to the writings of the old and new testament: you will cross ancient Roman battlefields, you will travel along ancient trade and pilgrim routes and you will visit sacred places mentioned in the Bible. In one trip you will visit three different geographic areas: starting from Nazareth we will ride through the mountainous area of Galilee to the Jordan River and the huge lake of Tiberias. Following the ancient routes we will go to Jerusalem, exploring the desert and ending in beauty reaching Masada, an ancient fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Pick-up from Ben Gurion International Airport for h. 16.20, or from your hotel in Tel Aviv for h. 15.30 and transfer (USD 70 to be paid locally) to Moshav Sharona in the lower region of Galilee. Dinner and overnight in a lovely country lodge.
After assigning the horses, we leave for the first day in the saddle through the nature of this beautiful region, passing through Kfar Keesh and Tel Rechesh, apparently the theater of the legend of King Solomon. Return to the stables, relax and with the means we will go to Mount Tabor to visit the church of the Transfiguration, then to Nazareth for a walking tour of the city. An intriguing place, full of aromas and flavors that we will find for dinner in a typical Bedouin restaurant. Return to Sharone for overnight.
on the saddle to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Sirin Height area, characterized by a myriad of lakes and waterfalls to reach the viewpoint of Mitzpe Ayloat from which you can admire the entire Jordan valley. We will pass by Yaela Grove, the place where historically Jael, wife of Eber, killed Sisara (Book of Judges). We will arrive at the river, where in summer it is possible to cool off and take a swim, then we will continue to Kibbutz Degania, the first in the world, where we will learn a lot about this particular lifestyle. Overnight at the lodge in Sharona.
Departure towards Tel Megiddo through the Ramot Menashe National Park. Tel Megiddo is what is thought to be the site of Armageddon, an epic battle associated with the end of the world; once an important city of commercial exchanges, today it leaves only ruins as evidence of the inhabitants of the past. On the way back we will stop to visit a cave used in the second half of the twentieth century for the training of the Palmachs, elite warriors. Overnight at the lodge of the beautiful Kibbutz Dalia.
Day dedicated to the exploration of the beautiful Carmel region that will take us to El-Maharrakah, the place where the prophet Elijah, an important figure of the Old Testament, challenged and won the prophets of the god Baal. Visit to a Carmelite monastery and return for the Kibbutz Dalia.
Transfer by car to Jerusalem and visit the old city following the Via Dolorosa, traveled by Jesus to the place of the crucifixion. Lunch of typical local cuisine and transfer to the desert, to spend a night under the stars.
In the meantime, our horses will have reached us, and we will therefore visit this endless expanse of desert on the saddle. We will learn a lot about the Bedouin culture and lifestyle, and following some camel tracks, we will arrive at the Kanaim Valley, and our camp, for a relaxing evening around the fire.
Another exhilarating day in the desert. We will ride to the Kanaim Valley and surrounding hills overlooking the Dead Sea. We will follow ancient mule tracks used by the Roman Legions until Mount Masada appears majestic. From there we will continue with the means to a Spa where we will do a treatment with the mud of the Dead Sea. Transfer to Tel Aviv and overnight in a four-star hotel (dinner not included).
Breakfast and a day dedicated to discovering this lively city on your own. Independent transfer to the airport.

ACCOMMODATION:
The accommodations proposed are a mix of small structures away from the cities, clean and comfortable with private bathroom. A night in a spartan tented camp in the desert, where, after a tiring day in the saddle, you can admire the landscape from the top of a sacred mountain.
For the last night we will return to Tel Aviv, a modern and lively city that offers a variety of activities, colorful markets and beautiful beaches.
The staff will take care of preparing delicious local cuisine (pork is not served). Wine and beer will also be available for dinner, except in Arab restaurants where alcohol is prohibited.
