On the saddle of our horse friends we will be able to enter the essence of this Caribbean island: we will discover the lively culture of the Dominican people, the authentic taste of the cuisine and a simply spectacular nature. its beautiful landscapes combine sea, mountains and lush valleys, rivers and a multitude of beaches. Strong cocoa and coffee trees grow on its fertile soils, while the most transparent amber in the world hides underground.

Pick-up from Puerto Plata airport and transfer to the Ecolodge Tubagua, in the hills surrounding the city. Relaxing afternoon before the welcome cocktail and dinner. Overnight in ecolodge.
Breakfast and transfer to the ranch which is located nearby in the countryside. After a brief presentation of the routes, departure for the lush countryside: fields of sugar cane, mango, coconut and tropical vegetation. We will reach the village of El Cupey, at 2400 feet. Typical cuisine lunch and continuation to the Camu river and subsequent visit to a breeding of beautiful Paso Fino horses. Dinner and overnight in an ecolodge.
Breakfast, transfer to the ranch and departure on the saddle to reach the beautiful 27 crystal clear waterfalls of Damajagua, where we can cool off. Dinner and overnight in an ecolodge.
Today at the beach, once on the saddle we will arrive at the famous and beautiful beach of Sosua, where we can snorkel and buy some souvenirs, especially the Larimar stone and amber. After having lunch, we will move to another beach, completely unknown to tourists. here we can gallop and bathe with the horses. For dinner we will have a barbecue on the beach and return with the horses in the moonlight. Overnight in ecolodge.
Last day on the saddle between sea and mountains, we will pass by the area called Los Ciruelos where we will cross various plantations of coffee, cocoa and tropical fruits. Last dinner organized at the bustling beach of Cabarete. Overnight in ecolodge.

GAIT: 5 hours per day in the saddle. The gaits will be related to the equestrian level of the participants, beginners will go in a separate group to allow everyone to enjoy this trek. We proceed to the 3 gaits

ACCOMMODATION:
5 nights in an ecolodge in the hills around Puerto Plata. Simple rooms with shared bathroom. Possibility of superior room type with supplement. Full board with drinks included with meals (water, soft drinks, local wine and beer). Excluded from meals.
Possibility of menus for gluten intolerant or vegetarians.
