CREA IL TUO VIAGGIOUganda: Discovering the White Nile 2021
The only horse riding tour in Uganda… together with our local partners we have organized this adventure for you where the longest river in the world, the White Nile, is born. We brought beautiful thoroughbred horses from Kenya, perfectly trained and amazingly adapted to the new accommodation. You will go to the discovery of the wonderful jungle inhabited by an abundant native fauna… and after a day in the saddle your lodge awaits you with its comforts and good food.

Pick-up from Entebbe airport or from a hotel in Entebbe for 8.30 am (possible support night on request) and transfer to Jinja at Holland Park Jinja (or similar).
Lunch and in the afternoon a couple of hours on the saddle to get acquainted with the horses and visit a small local village not far away on the banks of the Nile.
Dinner and overnight.
After having breakfast, we will load the horses into the van and go to Lake Victoria, the starting point for our day dedicated to exploring the large peninsula that extends into the lake. Lunch on the banks and late afternoon sunset cruise on Lake Bujagali. Dinner and overnight in Jinjia.
We will move today to the Rain Forest Lodge (or similar), which we will reach after about 4 hours on the saddle through local plantations and villages. In the afternoon, free time for a little relaxation by the pool or a guided walking tour in the forest. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
A day to explore the Mabira Forest, where, with a little luck, we will be able to spot some rare primates of the monkey family. Return to the lodge in the afternoon and relax by the pool. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After switching horses for well-rested ones, we will head towards Lodge The Haven passing through huge tea plantations. Arrive at the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon for a dip in the pool or river. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day dedicated to relaxation or various activities in the area: rafting, swimming with horses, Quad Biking, Bungee Jumping, Kayaking, Mountain biking or Jet boating lessons. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
We will move back to the Wild Waters Lodge, the most beautiful you will ever see, spending our last day on the saddle exploring the banks of the Nile River, the local villages. Relaxing afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Breakfast and transfer to the airport with arrival at h. 14.00. Consider a flight that does not leave before mid-afternoon.

GAIT: 4 to 8 hours in the saddle. The three gaits will be used with long trots and gallops. It is necessary to have absolute mastery of the horse in open spaces and in good physical condition.

2 nights at The Haven lodge, a relaxing lodge beside the river banks, close to the rapids. Bar and restaurant with beautiful river views.
1 night at Wild Water Lodge, definitely the most beautiful you will ever see. Built directly on an islet on the river.
