Utah: in the canyons on horseback 2021
Escalante Canyon, the famous national monument in the state of Utah, is located in one of the largest still untouched areas in our hemisphere. Shaped by winds and water erosion, it is an unrivaled spectacle of nature, discovered very late because of the rugged terrain that surrounds it. It is based in a comfortable semi-mobile tented camp and you will have the opportunity to explore new paths every day, canyons, rocky arches and the wildest nature.

Transfer from Salt Lake City or Las Vegas airport to Torrey independently, we recommend hiring a car. (transfer on request). This small town of only 200 inhabitants is located near the west entrance of the Capital Reef National Park. Meeting at the hotel lobby in Torrey at h. 19.00 with the guide to illustrate the trip. Free dinner.
After having breakfast, short transfer to the town center where you will find your horses. Today they will travel about 30 miles on Boulder Mountain, overlooking one of the roads considered among the most scenic in all of the USA! We will pass through Steep Creek Lakes and Windmill before arriving at the camp located between Moody Canyon and Falls Canyon.
Departure from the camp to ride to Lamanite Natural Bridge, Water Canyon and Egg Canyon. Wonderful day through incredible landscapes among the complex canyons of the area.
We will ride to the Circle Cliff Divide, famous for some prehistoric paintings found at its base. We will pass through the narrow bottlenecks of Silver Falls Canyon to the cool caves of Springs Peak.
From the camp departure to explore the highest peaks of Indian Gulch to return after a wonderful day enjoying the camp bonfire.
After loading your belongings on the vehicles, we will leave on horseback to Steep Creek and Long Canyon, crossing the Wolverine Petrified Forest and Little Death Hollow, where we will leave the horses for the transfer by car to Torrey, where we will arrive in the late afternoon.

The first night is scheduled at the hotel in Torrey. The night of the sixth day in Torrey on request.
The other 4 nights will be in a fixed tented camp equipped with every comfort and located near the main points of interest that can be visited during the day, Equipped with various tents for guests to relax while maintaining a low environmental impact.
