Abruzzo: The National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio & Molise 2021
The national park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise is one of the oldest national parks in Italy. Established in 1923 to safeguard its exceptional natural characteristics and save some wild animals from extinction, it covers 50,000 hectares in the heart of the central Apennines, between Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise and includes 25 municipalities. The landscape is characterized by mountain ranges, streams and rivers, including the Sangro: an ideal place to spend pleasant days in contact with nature and admire pristine landscapes, a very rich flora and a varied fauna. It is here, in fact, between remote valleys and hairless mountains, that some species, such as the Marsican brown bear, the golden eagle, the Apennine wolf, the deer, the otter and the chamois have found their refuge and their habitat. .

For those who are not too tired, after dinner, we recommend a walk through the streets of this charming medieval village.
