This brave girl, Amberley, was born in January 1991 in California.
She has loved horses since she was a child, and began competing in barrel races at a very young age with excellent results. In January 2010, at the age of only 19, she was paralyzed from the waist down due to a terrible car accident. She went under the knife for over 5 hours, and this tragic moment will change her life forever, but not her warrior spirit. After only 4 months from the intervention, she returns to the saddle and also to compete and win her barrel competitions, always riding her beloved and loyal Power, with whom she has established an incredible feeling even more than before. An inspiration for many young Americans in wheelchairs who have found inspiration in her and the desire to never give up. For those intrigued by this incredible story, the film “Walk, Ride, Rodeo” has recently been released, where she herself acts as a stunt double during the scenes on horseback.
