A new itinerary to explore the norther part of Ireland, a rugged territory characterized by a very varied landscape… you will ride to the top of the mountains and gallop on long isolated beaches, crossing a village where the main language is still Irish.
We will travel miles and miles of isolated, beautiful, windswept and completely wild coasts, caves hidden. we will climb mountains from which we will have a breathtaking view of the ocean, we will climb almost desert sand dunes. Every day a different path will amaze us with incredible landscapes, an Ireland as you’ve never seen it before …

Self-service transfer from Donegal airport of approximately 45 minutes (transfer upon request for a fee. lternatively it is possible to land in Belfast, approximately 2 hours, or Dublin, approximately 4 hours.
Check-in at the hotel, where the owners Derek and Gerarda are waiting for you, you will have time to relax and explore Killahoey Strand just a few minutes' walk away. The stables are located next to the Lookout Tower. In the afternoon we will meet here with Helen who will present the horses and the program of the week. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast and then everyone to the stable where the horses will be assigned. Morning dedicated to getting to know the beach first and then climbing up the forest to Horn Head.
From there, we will enjoy a beautiful landscape of Sheephaven Bay, the mountain of Derryveagh, and the charming coastal village of Dunfanaghy. Free lunch and free afternoon available. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Today we will depart in the opposite direction of the coast, towards the imposing Muckish Mountain.
We will follow old tracks, traced over 150 years ago during the famine period and which can only be traveled on horseback.
We will pass by an old disused Falcarragh-Burtonport railway, which became famous thanks to Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie in the movie 'The Railway Man'. Break to enjoy our picnic and then continue on to Errarooey. The horses will spend the night in a green paddock overlooking the ocean and the famous island of Tory, the legendary kingdom of the Celtic Cyclops. Return by public transport to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
After having a healthy Irish breakfast we will retrieve the horses, and if the weather permits, we will start the day with an adrenaline rush on the beach. Today will be characterized by an incredible variety of landscape, from wild hills to old farms. We will admire the beauty of the coasts lapped by the ocean. After a gallop on the beach of Tramore, a well-deserved lunch and free afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Free day that you can dedicate to discovering the town of Dunfanaghy, with its many handicraft shops and the many marked paths, the 'Rambles in Dunfanaghy'. You can also organize a fishing trip, rent a bicycle that will allow you to explore the beautiful surroundings, play golf. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After having breakfast today we will still be on the saddle to explore the surroundings of Sheephaven Bay and its Port na Blagh, which stands out full of colors with the Atlantic as a backdrop. Hilariously singing for Marble Hill before leaving the coast and heading to Mount Muckish, home of the beautiful eagle. Return to the coast and the hotel in time for dinner. Overnight at Hotel.
the Last day of the saddle will be full of emotions to savor the beauty of Donegal and a last gallop on the white sand of Tramore. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Delizioso hotel situato nella cittadina di Dunfanaghy, a nord-ovest della contea di Donegal. Affacciato sulla bellissima Sheephaven Bay e la sabbia bianca di Killahoey, sovrastato da Horn Head. Piccola struttura a conduzione familiare ideale per il relax, combinato con il buon cibo ed un’ospitalità tradizionale grazie al suo ottimo staff.
Le camere doppie o singole sono arredate con gusto, dispongono di televisione, corner con the e caffè. Alcune camere superior.
Al ristorante panoramico gusterete ottimi piatti di cucina tradizionale e da non perdere i dolci. Su richiesta è possibile avere un menù vegetariano.
