Discovering Dalmatia 2021
An itinerary suitable for riders who are able to ride at three gaits: you will discover Dalmatia along ancient Roman roads used by cattle in this beautiful still rural area. We will pass through the Svilaj Mountains, Moseć. we will discover the local culture thanks to the hospitality of the people. From Split airport you will be transferred to the ranch where the adventure will begin; on request it is possible to organize a visit to the city of Split, with its beautiful Diocletian palace, a UNESCO heritage site or the town of Trogir, also a UNESCO heritage site.

Arrival at the airport or Split station and transfer to the ranch. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and morning on the saddle (about 2/3 hours) dedicated to the discovery of the surroundings and knowledge of the horses. Lunch at the ranch and in the afternoon, after a bit of relaxation, everyone is back on horseback through the nature of the ranch's surroundings. Dinner and overnight.
After having breakfast, saddling of the horses and departure for the trek climbing the Zelovo hill. After about two hours stop for lunch and in the afternoon another 3 or 4 hours on the saddle through local villages, fields, forests. Return to the ranch for dinner and overnight.
After having breakfast on the saddle towards the mountain of Svilaja, we will have the opportunity to gallop through the sown fields before arriving at the Dalmatian villages of Ogorje, Leskur and Milesina. Once passed, we will take an ancient Roman road that will take us to the pumto stop for lunch. After a well deserved rest we will continue to Buzov and Pribude before returning to the ranch for dinner and overnight.
We will ride up to the slopes of the Svilaja mountain and the traditional villages of Crivac and Čavoglave, along another ancient Roman road. At the village of Marinići we will make a stop for lunch, and in the afternoon we will be able to visit the mountain behind the village, famous for its caves and underground waters. We will pass through Crivac before returning to the ranch. Dinner and overnight.
Another day on the saddle is just awaiting for us, we will start at a good trot to reach the summit of Mount Svilaja; halfway, at about 1300 meters, we will make a stop for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, from the summit, we can admire Perucko, Lake Cetina, the Adriatic Sea and its islands! Return to the ranch in time for dinner, overnight.
Today will be the last day on the saddle: we will discover Mount Moseć which we will leave in the afternoon to return to the ranch. Last warm dinner during which we will tell each other the adventures of the week. Overnight.
Breakfast and transfer in time for your flight to Italy. Possibility to visit Split.

HORSES: Lipizzaners, English thoroughbreds, Croatian half-bloods
GAIT: 4 to 6 hours per day in the saddle. We proceed to the three paces on not particularly demanding routes. Skill in handling the horse in open spaces is required. The use of a helmet is mandatory.
MINIMUM AGE: 15 years
MAXIMUM AGE: 70 years
TYPE : equestrian stay with overnight stay on the ranch
ACCOMMODATION:
7 nights on the ranch.
Breakfast and dinner are always served at the ranch while lunches are eaten in the countryside during breaks. Genuine ingredients from local farms. Local wine included with dinner.
On request it is possible to report some special diets.
