The colors of Corsica 2021
A trek of only 5 days, a concentration to discover the different facets of Corsica. An island of a thousand colors and wild charm. We will ride through the Boziu region with a great variety of landscapes and an incredible view of the blue sea.

Meeting at 9.00 am at the equestrian center near Corte. Free transfer from the Corte train station (with a supplement, it is possible to organize a transfer from Bastia airport the previous evening and add the support night). Assignment of the horses and departure on the hills above the Tavignano river. Picnic lunch with wonderful views. In the afternoon return to the equestrian center with overnight stay in mobile homes.
After having breakfast, departure on horseback to discover the Boziu region in its wildest part. This is the real Corsica at times harsh and indomitable with still herds of animals in the wild. Picnic lunch, dinner and overnight stay in typical bungalows.
We will leave to reach the village of Alando, where a small farmhouse awaits us to taste typical products of the island. In the afternoon we will pass through herds of cows to return to the Pianellu area.
We will start our day on the saddle by observing a breathtaking view from overhanging paths: views of the eastern part of the island as well as of Sardinia. Picnic lunch and descent towards the sea through vineyards and expanses of orange trees. Dinner and overnight in mobile homes.
Moving horses by means of transport to get to the coast washed by the Mediterranean, where we can relax, sunbathe or swim with the horses. Return to Corte and transfer to the station (possibility of an extra night and transfer the next day to Bastia airport for a fee).

ACCOMMODATION: Spartan accommodations, bungalows and mobile homes
EQUIPMENT: trekking saddles
HORSES: Arab and Arab-Berber horses, docile and accustomed to the routes
GAIT: ABOUT 5 HOURS PER DAY IN THE SADDLE – It requires familiarity with the three gaits.
MINIMUM AGE : 10 years
TYPE : Itinerant trekking with simple overnight stays in mobile homes
ACCOMMODATION:
Overnight stays in mobile homes and rustic bungalows, rooms for 2/4/6 people with shared services.
Picnic lunches. Home cooking dinners with water and local wine included.
It is possible to request a particular menu (with supplement).
